It follows the EU GDPR, the UK GDPR, the EU ePrivacy Directive and the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR). Please read it together with our Privacy Policy.

2. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device. Similar technologies include pixels, local storage and session storage. Some are essential for a site to work; others help us measure our advertising. We do not use browser or device fingerprinting.
3. Categories and legal basis
| Category | What it does | Consent needed? |
|---|---|---|
| Necessary | Makes the site work and stores your cookie choices. | No. Exempt under PECR reg. 6(4) and ePrivacy Art. 5(3). |
| Preferences | Remembers choices such as language. | Yes (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). |
| Statistics | Helps us understand how visitors use the site. | Yes (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). |
| Marketing | Measures the performance of our advertising, for example the Meta Pixel. | Yes (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). |
Non-essential cookies are blocked until you choose to allow them. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and no category is pre-selected.
4. Cookies we use
The list below is generated automatically by our consent platform, Cookiebot (Usercentrics A/S, Denmark), from regular scans of this website. It shows each cookie's name, provider, purpose and how long it lasts, and it also shows your current consent status.
Meta Pixel
If you accept marketing cookies, we use the Meta Pixel to measure our advertising. MediBridge and Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd are joint controllers for collecting and sending this data (Art. 26 GDPR), under Meta's Controller Addendum. Meta is solely responsible for its own later processing.
Your health data never reaches cookies
Analytics and advertising cookies are used only on this marketing website. They are never placed in the MediBridge web application or mobile apps, and no cookie ever receives health data or anything derived from your records.
5. How we record and renew your consent
When you make a choice, Cookiebot records an anonymous consent ID, the date and time, the categories you accepted or rejected and the version of the banner in force (GDPR Art. 7(1)). Consent records are kept for 3 years. You can ask for a copy at privacy@medibridge.tech, quoting the consent ID shown above.
We ask for your consent again after 12 months, when we add a new cookie, provider or purpose, or when we make a material change to this policy.
6. Changing your choices and deleting cookies
- Cookie settings: use the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer of every page, or the button at the top of this page. You can withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it.
- Browser settings: you can delete or block cookies in your browser (Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security; Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security; Safari: Settings > Privacy; Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions).
- Platform opt-outs: Meta (Facebook Settings > Ads) and Google (myadcenter.google.com) offer their own controls. These are separate from your choices on this website.
7. Your rights and complaints
You have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and portability, and the right to withdraw consent. See our Privacy Policy for details. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or to the data protection authority in the EU country where you live or work.
8. Changes to this policy
We review this policy at least once a year and whenever we change the cookies we use. The version and date at the top of this page show when it last changed.
