Frequently asked questions

Securely translate and share your medical documents.

Everything you need to know about using MediBridge, from setting up profiles to sharing records with your doctor.

Getting started

MediBridge lets you securely upload, translate, and share medical documents. Your data is encrypted and private.

Tap Get Started, then Create Account, and enter your email and a password (at least 8 characters, with uppercase, lowercase, a number, and a special character).

Tap Log in and enter your email and password. If you forget your password, tap Forgot password?

Profiles

Yes. Each person gets their own profile, so you can keep everything in one place. This includes you: your own profile isn't created automatically, so you'll need to create it yourself, just like a family member's.

On the Home screen, tap the + next to Profiles. Use the same steps for your own profile and for each family member's. Add a photo, pick a colour, and enter a name. Relationship, date of birth, national health ID, and blood type are optional.

Tap the three dots next to the profile. The menu offers Edit Profile, Share Profile, Manage shared docs, Transfer Ownership, and Delete Profile.

A profile that still has documents can't be deleted. Delete or move its documents first.

Adding and translating documents

Open a profile and tap Add Files (or + Add). Choose Upload from Device to pick a file from your phone, or Scan Document to scan one or more pages with your camera.

Yes. On the Home screen, tap Upload from Web. We email you a one-time link that opens MediBridge Upload in your browser. The link expires in 15 minutes and can only be used once. If you didn't request it, ignore the email.

Before saving, you can edit the name, the document date, and the category: Lab Report, Radiology, Prescription, Discharge Summary, Cardiology, Neurology, Ophthalmology, or Other.

Yes. When you save, select the languages you want: English, Spanish, or Italian. Translation is optional. If you don't select a language, the original is saved as-is.

Open the document and use the tabs at the top: Original, Text, and the language tabs. Translations can take a moment to appear.

Translations and extracted text are AI-generated and are not a clinical document. Always check important details against the original, which is always preserved.

Sharing

Open the document, tap Share File, then Generate Share Link. Send it by Messages, WhatsApp, or Mail, or tap Copy Link. The recipient doesn't need a MediBridge account.

Yes. Select the documents, tap Share, then Generate Share Link to get a single link.
